Infrared And Bluetooth: Connecting Things Easier
With different electrical devices produced everyday, the problem of connecting things is becoming increasingly complex. The system uses the computers and other electronic devices include varieties of the connection of wires, cables and the like. These parts communicate trough light beams, lasers, radio and infrared signals. However, the problem is with these devices and technologies, often the connection between the individual components. For example, most systems are not fully exploitedDue to the complexity.
To simplify things, a solution was created to streamline the process of connections - using Bluetooth.
Bluetooth and wireless LAN automatically and provides the user with a variety of excellent properties, which restored the art of connection. It has combined the standard method for connecting things that can be practically anything on a single system to be revolutionized. From computers to mobile phones and keyboards to wireless headphones through, automatic and cost-effectiveConnection.
Unlike the Bluetooth technology, there are other ways to connect things. Take, for example infrared or IR. It allows low frequency light waves which the eye can no longer be interpreted to transmit signals to another component. The technology is simple to deploy and the cost of integrating the IR device into a system is an absolute minimum. Nevertheless, it has limited operations, which are rarely blocked the process of connection.
Infrared technology is a process to one. Because of thisRestriction, you can only send signals from one component to another, as the case of the TV and the remote control. The same holds true between laptops and desktops. You can only signals between the two but not with another independent system, such as a PDA by simultaneous actions.
It also works only on the line of sight principle where you get to the infrared device directly to the host system to a desirable outcome point.
Despite the fact that thesetwo natures of infrared technology is an obstacle to the acquisition results of the same qualities have worked in conjunction advantage. Since infrared devices have to be fed directly to the opposing places, too little interference occurs between the transmitter and receiver. One, a principle on the other hand, is designed to transmit signals only to the original recipients. There are varieties of infrared receiver in one location, the recipient will only receivesignal coming from a transmitter.
However, technology was not yet satisfied with what infrared properties. They decided that these restrictions by setting up the Bluetooth solution.
Bluetooth technology works by transmitting signals through low frequency radio signals. The way of the communication work around 2.45 GHz. The same frequency band used in ISM devices.
The design of the technology, making it a new system that has created not with the non-disabledother devices that use the same frequency band (eg ISM). One way to do this is to program the Bluetooth technology to signal that only 1 milliwatt or less. Moreover, other systems may be affected. Compared to send cell phones and other mobile devices, signals with a rate of 3 milliwatts, and much more.
The standard range of Bluetooth is about ten meters. This reduces the possibility that interference may occur between the device. With this lowTransmission, it is still possible for the user to transfer signals between Bluetooth obstructing walls.
Bluetooth in many ways, contributed greatly to the integration of individual systems without effort from the mass of cables and wires.
