I just received my Acer One as a gift last week. I think I'm in love. This little guy "can do almost all my full size laptop can do. It 'came with a free trial version of Microsoft Office, but I downloaded [...] of mine. I also downloaded Mozilla Firefox and I noticed no change in speed.
I did some traveling and loves to find a Starbucks or Barnes and Noble have my coffee and have a working computer. I also do research on the Internet [...] so I had to download any special plug-ins and everything worked perfectly.
The only thing this little boy is missing is a DVD player, but who really needs that on a small machine? If I really need to see something to relax, there are many canals are full right now with episodes online so you can get my fix of fun free.

I think it's a great computer for the price (under $ 300 including VAT). I think it would make a great computer for a student, a mother, or who likes to be mobile.
