Sony VAIO VPC-W211AX/P 10-Inch Pink Netbook - Up to 8 Hours of Battery Life Review

Sony VAIO VPC-W211AX/P 10-Inch Pink Netbook - Up to 8 Hours of Battery Life
This is the newest model (W211AX) of Sony’s Netbooks and has a extended battery life. While others may complain of the battery- I like the fact that it elevates the netbook up towards you. Depending on the surfing you do- you may have a bit less battery life than advertised. I ordered the pink Vaio and couldn’t be more pleased. It was everything I expected it to be and then some. The Track pad is reasonably sized and much larger than most. The screen clarity is amazing. My only complaint is where the speakers are situated for the volume. I simply resolved this issue on my own and use my ipod head phones when listening to sound. To the lower right of screen you may also adjust zoom level. Your options are 100, 125, and 150. If you do increase the zoom level- You do loose a bit of viewing and must scroll from side to side. The keyboard buttons are a bit elevated and makes it easier for typing. The only other downfall that I could say would be that the netbook only comes with Windows 7 Starter. With this program starter version you are unable to change desktop background. Bummer… I love that I can install my SD card and download my photos too. Perfect for web surfing, downloading pics, typing, emails, etc.
AMAZING LITTLE NETBOOK!!!!!!!!
SONY CONTINUES TO IMPROVE THEIR APPEARANCE, MODELS INTERIOR, AND STAND BY THE SONY NAME WITH EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!

EMTEC Gdium Liberty 1000 GDNBL10USK006 10-Inch Matte Black Netbook - 4 Hour Battery Life Review

EMTEC Gdium Liberty 1000 GDNBL10USK006 10-Inch Matte Black Netbook - 4 Hour Battery Life
For stability, ease of use and a good upgrade path, Linux can’t be beat. My first criterion for a netbook was that it run a version of the Linux operating system. The Emtec Gdium fit the bill, so I took a closer look. Reviews gave it high marks for its usb stick based storage and good fit and finish. They panned it for sluggish performance and poor battery life. Since I was looking for a machine primarily to pick up email while traveling, I was not too concerned about the performance issues - when I am on vacation, I try not to do too much serious number crunching that would strain a processor. The battery life was more of a concern, but when I thought about it, I realized that I would usually be close to an AC outlet. The price was right, so I placed my order.

Lenovo S10-2 10-Inch Gray Netbook - 6 Cell Battery Review

Lenovo S10-2 10-Inch Gray Netbook - 6 Cell Battery
I highly recommend this netbook.

A key reason I bought a second S10 when I needed (OK, wanted) another netbook: I’ve dropped the first about a dozen times, knocking it off the armrest of an easy chair onto carpet, about 2.5 feet down, and the Lenovo has kept working all this time. (OK, I should be more careful with it, but its hardiness has actually enabled me.)

MSI Wind U100-843 10-Inch Black Netbook - 5.5 Hour Battery Life Review

MSI Wind U100-843 10-Inch Black Netbook - 5.5 Hour Battery Life
” I am enjoying my MSI U100 10″ computer. It does everything that the larger ones do. I can carry it in a CD leather case or in my purse. I suggest the 10″ if you do not have petit hands. For a lady, I have somewhat larger hands and this computer is perfect for me. I suggest getting the Windows XP version. The battery life is awesome (3-4 hours). There is a warning if the battery is getting low. For business persons, this laptop is perfect. Believe me, it is NOT a toy. It’s the real thing with the latest updates. Works great at my house or away on business. Don’t confuse it with the HPNet. It goes far beyond internet services, just as any heavy laptop does. Its a GREAT DEAL! I paid more than Amazon is offering now. “
