A Netbook is also called a UMPC. This stands for ultra mobile personal computer. Some of these ultra small units are the size of handheld devices, such as cell phones. Their keyboards are compact; they have small hard drives, and one gig memory. Their screens are small, and clear. The netbook was designed for wireless communications (sending email), and simple access to the Internet. The use of a mouse is possible with these units. If the correct netbook, is chosen for the individual, with the right options, a comparison can be made. The purchase of a net book provides affordability, good quality and reliability. Netbooks are smoothly finished and powerful. They are also inexpensive. The common size of screen is ten inches. They often times include the feature of a web cam. Some netbooks even have up to three USB ports. Some also include Microsoft 7 Starter Edition. The netbook can handle many different tasks, and varied functions with an Intel Atom processor. Graphics and facial recognition software are included on some netbooks and UMPC manufactured brands. These brands are an affordable two hundred and fifty pounds.
